Juan Quero Jr.

I was born and raised in Oxnard, California, and graduated from the University of California, Davis as a double major in English and Sociology. After becoming a first-generation college graduate, I moved to Wisconsin to actualize my dream of becoming the first lawyer in my family. While I attended UW Law School, I participated in the Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People (LAIP) Second-Look Advocacy Clinic and spent the majority of my time training to become a Public Defender. My years spent preparing to represent clients in criminal court, honed my composure, attentiveness, and zealous advocacy skills necessary to best represent clients in family court

Upon graduation from UW Law School, I worked at a local nonprofit agency aiding victims of domestic and sexual abuse in their immigration and family law matters. I joined Kowalski, Wilson & Vang, LLC in 2024 to specialize and commit to the practice of family law. I consider it an immense privilege to guide my future clients through the onerous filings, stressful court hearings, and simplify the complicated legal system to accomplish your goals.

I am qualified to accept Guardian ad Litem appointments. I aim to apply my years of conflict resolution skills whenever possible and provide my recommendations for a child’s best interest after a deep examination of the case.

When I am not lawyering, I enjoy competing in the sport of tournament paintball and spending quality time with my wife, and two cats (named Eggsy and Spoons).
